QNUK Level 2 Award in Understanding County Lines


This qualification provides those working with young people and vulnerable adults (parents, carers, community members & leaders and teachers & education support staff) with the necessary information to identify those at risk from becoming involved in County Lines activity. It also establishes a grounding in the legal guidelines in place to protect those at risk from County Lines, and the suggested procedures for reacting to suspected cases.

Duration: This qualification is taught as a 1/2 day group session.

Course Content:

You will be taught to:

  • Understand the key principles and terminology related to County Lines activity.

  • Understand the link between County Lines and the abuse of young people and vulnerable adults.

  • Understand how to support an individual exposed to or involved with county lines.

Assessment Structure: 

  • Internal Assessment: To demonstrate your understanding of the course you will sit a final multiple choice test, marked by your tutor.
