Level 2 / Level 3 Practice
The Practice component of the Health and Social Care (Adults) qualification will assess your ability to put the core Principles, Values and Knowledge into practice.
It can be taken at 2 levels:
You will be taught the same content in both levels, but Level 3 is assessed to a higher standard that Level 2.
The level you take is dependant on your past experience and competence and knowledge of the Core component.
You will develop and demonstrate your knowledge, understanding, behaviours and skills learned in the Core Component and apply these to the practical support of the health and care needs of adults in a range of settings.
You will learn to:
Practically demonstrate your understanding of the Principles and Values which underpin Health and Social Care.
Practically demonstrate your understanding of person-centred approaches.
Demonstrate Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Competency skills as appropriate within your role.
Portfolio of Evidence: You will be required to provide evidence of practice, including one report of direct observation by your tutor.
External Assessment: Externally set tasks, marked by your tutor.
