Level 2 Diploma in Playwork
This qualification is designed to provide current or aspiring playworkers with the fundamental knowledge required to understand the main aspects of behaviour, development and adaption of support when working with school-aged children in play groups, leisure centres and schools.
It focuses on the importance of play in its relationship to child development through an understanding of the guiding principles of playwork and its application to practice.
Duration: 12 - 18 months
